Blessing of the Holy Loaf

A loaf of bread presented by one of the parishioners would be blessed, cut up and distributed to the congregation. This was supposed to be the first food you ate on a Sunday, and by sharing it the parish displayed their unity. Here the Priest blesses the loaf.
